• Does it require any installation?

No, Aquabots are ready to go right out of the box and can be plugged into any standard GFCI grounded outlet.  The unit is lightweight and can easily be used by any member of the family. 

• Does the Aquabot hook up to my pool filter?

No, Aquabot is totally independent of your pool's filter system.  No bulky hoses, booster pumps or added plumbing. 

• How often should I use the Aquabot?

The Aquabot can be used as often as necessary.  Homeowners are pleasantly surprised at the Aquabot's ease in keeping your pool sparkling clean.

• Will it work in my type of pool?

Yes, the Aquabot works on all residential sizes, shapes, and surface pools.  Consult WaterWorks for the best unit for your particular pool.

• How does it know the difference between the floor and the wall?

Aquabot's built in Motorola micro-processor and mercury switch system guides the Aquabot horizontally, vertically and laterally on any surface to complete its preprogrammed cleaning cycle.

• Will it get stuck on a ladder or main drain?

Aquabots can not get trapped on a ladder or main drain because they never go in one direction for more than five minutes due to its micro-processing control program; allowing it to back out of any situation it may get into.

• Is it safe to use in the water while swimming?

Manufacturer suggests you do not use the Aquabot while swimming, however, it is completely electrically safe -- the long cord may pose a hazard to younger swimmers.

• How long does the unit last (life expectancy) ?

The Aquabot's construction is modular so any parts needing to be replaced can be easily done so by the homeowner or WaterWorks.

• How often do you have to change the parts and what parts will need to be replaced?

Normal wear and tear parts include belts which are easily replaced by the homeowner costing $12.60 per pair.  Tracks are also easily replaced by the customer and are $18.90 each.  The bag is machine washable and should provide years of trouble free service.

• What is the warranty?

The warranty varies by model  covering defects in workmanship and materials by the manufacturer.  Waterworks provides additional warranties.

• Where can I get service?

WaterWorks is an authorized service center.  We have been servicing Aquabots for years.  We gladly work on Aquabots sent in from around the country.  We can also refer you to a nationwide network of service centers possibly in your area.

• Why does the Aquabot cost more than other pool cleaners?

Aquabots are high-end cleaners.  When compared to lower quality pool cleaners, you will find this complete and independent pool cleaning system to be worth the extra money.
